I'm different...just like everyone else.
Ok, just got the game. having a blast!
But one thing that is like an eyesore to me...one thing that annoys me so much is that you have no way to seperate yourself from the other players...I mean in appearance..we all wear the same armor...and with only a very VERY tiny selection of changes that can be made to our looks...it's like being around a bunch of clones..I see people that look like me all the time... ugh...why won't they add new looks in? |

maybe u picked the most generic face/hair combo?
or you dyed your armor in the most common color? i usually mix mine to get a unique finish to my armors to make myself stand out, or even mix and match diff types to get the best possible defense. if u want to really stand out. make one of your goals to get "fissure" armor. if you dont know what that is. you can "search" for the info in this forum. .GW Farmer.--since June.05. |

I agree with this. There needs to be more customization to boot. Like at the begining of the game you should be able to pick from 10 different clothing options for your trait also being able to mix em' up. Also change color eliminating the whole dye craze.
edit:if you just got the game that means your in the 'NEW' area of the game. There are generally a lot of noobs and I don't think there is an armor vendor. Once you get out of the whole area your in you'll start seeing unique people. |

ye i think gaile/Anet did mention something about how they want to implement "clothing" in towns. that would be pretty sweet. -crosses fingers/toes.

for comparison, I love the system of City of Heroes, where you can customize just everything so you have your own look

Still, i'm a Lvl. 15 elementalist and in mission areas like D'Assalo (sp?) I always see atleast 10 fire elementalists walk buy with the same Pyromancer clothing like me!
And City of Heroes' customization is amazing! If guild wars had that i'd be even more absorbed in to it. |
